Did Brandon Hagel just try to take a sneaky swipe at Noah Dobson’s injured thumb?

Right after the habs traded for Dobson in the summer, I wanted them to trade Matheson for a right handed physical D to fit in the bottom 4. Now I want them to trade him for a bag of skittles.

That hit on Juraj Slafkovsky is one of those “hits” that can change a series 🙁 I really hope he’s ok, but that was rock solid.

@VerdeletVIII @paultanasi Im Brian Wilde 🤣 Guys a dweeb. It's true he is always on the "Can't trust Arber to play" bandwagon. Just riding Marty's decisions with no original thought of his own.

Sorry Connor McDavid. But from the second that game went to OT seemed like he wanted a Crosby moment more than anything. Forced it 2 shifts in a row. And led to odd man rush the other way 2x. #Olympics2026

Hot take: A country where the media establishment and boomers try to cancel a Canadian like Wayne Gretzky, arguably the greatest hockey player of all time, because he's friends with Americans, deserves to lose at hockey. There. I said it. Fuck all of you.

@PierreLucMathi1 No, you need the big guns out playing 3 on 3 to cycle the puck and create an opening instead of trying to "be the man" and score on their own. At the end of the day it was selfish and reckless play by the "best players in the world" that led to an oddman rush and the USA win.

The best team didn’t win today, it was obvious how better Canada was But , you need 1 guy to step up and steal the game, as a Habs fan I’ve seen Price do that countless times Connor Hellebuyck did just that. Congrats to him, he is 1000% deserving and litteraly stole the game

Suzuki won the board battle on the tying goal. No assist to him, but the one angle they just showed, it looked like he got it back to Toews.

@grantmccagg Definitely think Nick should be getting powerplay time. He is an excellent puck distributor

Suzuki has more power-play points than Marchand and Horvat combined, yet they are both on the second power play, and Nick is not. I think that was a mistake.

Nick Suzuki ties it. Mitch Marner wins it. Canada winning at the expense of Leafs nation’s dignity will only be topped by watching Auston Matthews choke in this tournament.

Suzuki has taken a lot of heat over the past few days, and many are saying he should be out of the lineup. He remains on the second line with Hagel and Mackinnon. I expect Nick to step up today; he's been a clutch big-game player since junior. Let's go, Nick! #Habs

@brenmidov I agree. I feel Suzi is a natural centre and Nate has the better skill set for the wing. Speed, power, board battle proficiency, etc.

This probably won’t happen, but I feel like I’d try to switch up my middle 2 lines if I was Cooper: MacKinnon-Suzuki-Marner Hagel-Crosby-Stone Or switch Crosby and Suzuki (I just know Suzuki and Marner have chemistry) also feel like you should try Suzuki at C

@sydcam_marcom @Mathieu_YD @HabsChronicle Last time I checked we had Danault? Newhook coming back soon too. Blais brings more of what the team lacks. Veleno adds nothing to the lineup so no sir, you appear to be the one who is wrong.

@Mathieu_YD @HabsChronicle The Habs don't have a reliable left-shot C, Veleno wins draws and can play a good 2-way game. So no, you're not right. Blais has been useful but Veleno fills a needed void.
