Yesterday I went to a shop to refill my 6Kg gas and by accident entered Ksh 1300 into the wrong number as the shop owner had typed the wrong number on my phone. I reversed it back and today when it came back to me, I called up the guy and sent him his money back. He really was surprised and said that he never expected it back. I explained that to him, that I always pay my dues; that honesty and truthfulness in business and in life are important to me.

If you want another man to assist you, • With a job, • Opportunities, • Financial assistance, Never use your emotional issues and predicaments as bargaining points. Nobody is interested in your problems, "I am suffering, please help." "My wife is sick, I need the job." "I have been kicked out of the rental house. Please help" "Banks are auctioning me." "I have a degree, yet I am jobless, I am depressed." Once you sell your emotional package, you automatically become a turn-off. A man will help you in view of your value to him, not because you are suffering. He may be philanthropic in supporting you in the short term. Still, he will expect you to discard your victimhood mentality and seek a sustainable solution to move beyond your rock bottom. However, do not pour your problems onto him. The best he can do is to tell you, "May God see you through." Please note that everyone is going through some sort of problems, including the man you are seeking help from, not just you. Many men you see as successful are seen that way because they have successfully hidden their chaos and emotions from the rest of the world. The man you see driving an expensive car and wearing expensive suits is also going through something that, if he shared, you would empathize with his situation. A lot of men have chosen to outgrow their problems by ignoring circumstances beyond their control while focusing on maximizing their skills and value to the world. So, when you are seeking support from another man, sell your skill, value and experience, and how you can solve a problem for him. Keep your suffering and problems to yourself; nobody is interested in them. You are a MAN, you have yourself, and that is enough. Your breakthrough will come. Chin up, towards God!

Deeply saddened by the passing of my dear friend and former Prime Minister of Kenya, Mr. Raila Odinga. He was a towering statesman and a cherished friend of India. I had the privilege of knowing him closely since my days as Chief Minister of Gujarat and our association continued over the years. He had a special affection for India, our culture, values and ancient wisdom. This was reflected in his efforts to strengthen India-Kenya ties. He particularly admired Ayurveda and traditional medicine systems of India, having witnessed their positive impact on his daughter's health. I extend my deepest condolences to his family, friends and to the people of Kenya in this hour of grief.
