Thread. A cautionary thought: the GOP can read polls. They *know* that a solid majority of Americans intensely oppose them on abortion, gun control and insurrection (to name but a few). They know these are big losers, in national electoral terms. Yet they persist.

My message to the American people: You have the power to elect leaders who will defend and protect your rights. And as the president said, with your vote, you can act. You have the final word. So this is not over.

if the only right we have remaining is the right to form a militia, i think the path forward is pretty clear
