I've seen (& signed) the petition going around. But I think the much more powerful response if you're hoping for some kind of future for the franchise is: Log on the week of June 9th. Dont' get me wrong, Sony execs aren't gonna fall to their knees in tears and insta-green-light D3 or anything. But seeing SO many players out there logging on to give one last hurrah to the franchise that meant so much to them - it'll speak volumes in its own way. At the very least, we'll have one more window of fun enjoying the last batch of new content in a game that meant so much to us. At best, it'll show how passionate the community still is, and just how badly so many of us want SOME kind of future for this franchise, no matter how long it might take to build. I'll see you out there in June. It's gonna be one hell of a ride.

this may sound super desperate. but if any mutuals wanna play some d2 i would love to. there’s so many i wanna play with but im too afraid to ask.

doing that with @dragosnuv was the highlight of that year. couldn't have asked for a better partner. those were good times.

one of my proudest Destiny 2 achievements was helping guardians through Vault of Glass when it hit D2. I'll wear that emblem until D2 shuts down probably.

In other news… progress

@BratsosPete I recently played through Destiny 1, that game is still so amazing.

@ResoluteMaverik I still play Destiny 1, the game is still going to be here anytime you feel like playing. I know it’s not the same but at least for now it’s still here.

So many good memories playing this game. I have over 100 sherpa carries in VoG in D2, I bought the VoG raid ring to commemorate that. I miss those times.

@stoshasaurus1 I'm hoping to put some groups together for some raiding, it should be a good time! I haven't done 2-3 of the most recent ones but I'm gunna pull in a sherpa or two.

@ResoluteMaverik The only one I’ve done in full is Vow, so to say I have a lot to catch up on is putting it very lightly lol

As a relatively New Light there are SOO many raids and dungeons I’ve never run. Trust me they are ALL being ran.

I guess nothing brings the Destiny community together quite like the end of development. All of a sudden, everyone’s out here organizing synchronized login days and signing petitions to show support. Where was all of this when the game actually needed it?

@isolatedrook The game was in a terrible spot for a long time. Bungie ignored feedback, reskinned this and regurgitated old content and marketed as new. This problem started WAYYYY before this week.

Bungie never started development on Destiny 3 because of how much money it would cost to develop it [via Bloomberg's Jason Schrier]

I’m ready for some Destiny 2 streams in June. Who wants to do some raiding? I’m excited for the raids getting tiered weapons, that should be fun. I wanna go into PvP with a godroll tier 5 Fatebringer 😈

@InfiniteGrunt I tend to agree, but maybe not this current iteration of Bungie. New leadership is needed.

I don’t want another game in the Destiny universe unless it’s Bungie at the helm. Period.
