The claim trans people were lied to about our rights is THE most GASLIGHTING bullshit ever spoken.
Its a barefaced lie that the Ea2010 was really a bathroom ban. Previously trans treatment was DEPENDANT on using spaces of acquired gender for 'real life experience'.

It's atrocious that trans ppl were misled about their rights for 10yrs+. It's irresponsible to continue misleading them, even if only through sheer ignorance. The @EHRC Code isn't new rules or law (and isn't in draft). Nothing has changed. The law is the law and sex means sex.

My wife spent an entire year taking on extra work and smashing all her targets so that she could ask for a pay rise, they actually gave her one and then literally 2 days later our landlord put up our rent by more than the raise because he decided it was time to be paid more money

When I was 27, Cartoon Network picked up my show idea for development. Over 5 years, they tasked me & my writing partner w/building out the show into an all-ages series for HBO Max, which was new at the time. We outlined 3 full seasons complete w/designs, & then they shelved it.

So about 15 years ago I attended the breast screening clinic as I had a lump that had appeared in my chest.
It turned out to be benign breast tissue growth (gyno) and nothing serious.
Weird how I, a cis man, was able to attend this kind of service, but trans women now can't.

she treated the party as some sort of labour-green faction rather than a separate party with its’ own interests to pursue. the greens let the day-to-day reality of being a minority in parliament become an accepted mindset -only leveraging power, never pursue it for themselves.
