Just heard about Gordon White. Instead of condolences let me add to his legacy: Read his essay on the Multivalent Self in "Pieces of 8." It is one of the most critical contributions to world spirituality of recent times and I told him as much. Read his writing and remember him.

Some great memories with the great Gordon White: -Road trip to a haunted Florida town. -Actual photo evidence that Gordon was once my teammate for good old fashioned Midwest beer pong the week of my wedding. -Picture of Gordon and my wife the last night he was here. They loved to gang up on me and bully me into some big travel plans we had. -Trip to Bok Tower, b/c it looked like something from LoTR.
