@silverpebble I find it absolutely draining to wash my hair. Solidarity - and it helps to know I’m not alone. I’ve got a medical appt and a Teams meeting. Currently deliberating putting it off until after Teams meeting. Hope you get there ❤️

Posting this in case it helps someone feel less sad & wonky about chronic illness/depression/ADHD/autism. Today I really don’t have the mental energy to wash my hair but need to bc I need to go to the supermarket. Not proud of this at all but trying to talk kindly to myself 🌿

To say I'm ashamed of my workplace today would be an understatement.

Our democratic process is laughable. No-one held to account for the lies they tell or massive blunders. Lucrative contracts granted to cronies. People without credibility or expertise appointed to positions of power or a seat in the HoL. It’s a baying, shouting, archaic shambles.

My daughter has just made her GCSC choices. She has a really promising voice and a possible career in music ahead of her. So we chose to do as many languages as possible, because there will soon be no prospects for classical musicians, it seems, in the UK. @E_N_O

Last night was the hardest night so far since restarting chemo, and I woke up not feeling much better. I’m sick to my stomach, and my body aches and hurts so bad. I had the chills and night sweats all night and could not get warm. I literally cried. Just brutal. @ThanksCancer
