Alimony is worse then dowry because in alimony men are not given any choice but in dowry women have a choice. A huge number of men have committed suicide due to alimony demands

If equal education, career growth, and financial independence were truly the priority, then why not first make daughters equally qualified and capable before expecting an elite “damad”? Why this obsession with status, money, and upward marriage alliances?
