They've been trained, been fed, and are ready to serve. Thanks to Theta Chi HB EKU, AFST Firefighting Colonels, and Chi Beta Tau Fraternity for braving the cold to canvass Richmond neighborhood's installing smoke alarms and sharing the message of community risk reduction today

The Richmond Fire Department continues to identify the growing need for specialized rescue services for area businesses, industries and the community. Recently our members trained on confined space emergencies, honing our skills in this emergency response.

Due to the possibility of inclement weather, Halloween/Trick or Treat for the city of Richmond will be Tuesday, October 30th from 6-8pm.

Road Closure Information: Four Mile @ the railroad crossing near the fire training center will be CLOSED for the next 36-48 hours per CSX due to damage from a motor vehicle collision earlier this morning. Detour signage will be in place.
