@maxtoscano1 @MattHarmon_BYB @AlfredoABrown I would have taken Boston over Stukes personally to have a real X, but investing in the secondary helps the run first identity game script, and they have pieces between Bowers, Mayer and Bech to do a lot out of condensed looks. One of the fast guys may be more than just that.

@NoFilm_Analysis Can anyone explain the obsession with giving ANY attention to the race of skill position players? Other positions don’t have this phenomenon. “It’s rare” is not adequate for how strange, and arguably problematic, giving it significance is.

@TFG_Football A massively improved OL and pass defense allows Bowers and Jeanty to thrive in positive game scripts. Not to mention one of the better offensive minds in the sport today. If that’s not good structure around him, what is? Yeah an X WR would’ve been great, but it’s a process.

I get the Raiders stole McCoy but they drafted a QB who needs a good structure around him to succeed and then proceeded to completely ignore WR in favor of a 25 year old Slot Defender and an Edge 5. No way that's the 2nd best Draft, IMO
