@RitD_Pride I’ve always personally been a little underwhelmed by Blackstar stuff when I’ve encountered it. HOWEVER, I’m a firm believer that for practice and home recording, there’s limited benefit to chasing ULTIMATE TONE or whatever. Ballpark is just fine for that stuff.

Thinking of picking up an amp for practice that also connects to my computer for recording. Anyone have any particularly good or bad experiences with Blackstar amps?

It’s so funny to see people crying about this as if it’s not exactly what the rash of mid-2000s ‘metalcore’ that came to define the genre was, when compared to what people were describing as ‘metalcore’ in the 1990s.

In the year of our Lord 2024, to order merch from the Moonspell website, you have to put in an order then someone emails you to tell you if that size in stock and gives you paypal information. Why?

In finding out they didn't have my size, I emailed them asking if a restock was planned or if an alternate design was in my size. They sent me a paypal link, so I've bought a longsleeve but have no idea which one will show up

@InTheAbyssmetal I think it's a shame that venues and promoters have had to resort to them to make ends meet. I guess I don't like that people would rather go and pay to see tribute bands than go to the shows of smaller or underground bands
