@askmomaitv @SenSanders I would support this idea but the Supreme Court, before there were any Trump appointed Justices, ruled that groups of people, like corporations and PACs, can make donations to political candidates.

Make it legitimately not about influence. No donations. Government gives each candidate their funds, raises it by taking 1.00 from every tax payer at tax time whose gross income is less than 200k, and take 100.00 from every tax payer whose gross income is 201k+. Max a presidential candidate can spend is 25M. Max 1M house or 2M senate. No donations, no influence. For any of you. Get your butts out on the campaign trail and win on policy.

If you give a politician $5 to influence a vote, it’s bribery. If billionaires spend $50 million to influence an election, it’s legal. That is what a corrupt campaign finance system looks like.

@SenSanders You raised $23,000,000 so far this year. This is like Schiff discussing the weaponization of government. No one can doubt your expertise.

OUTRAGEOUS! In front of their families and the entire Basque press, our Flotilla volunteers were attacked by the airport police in Bilbao, Basque Country-Spain, upon returning to their home country.

@T_Manzana27 Trump wanting Colbert gone doesn't mean that is why he's gone. CBS was losing $40,000,000/year on Colbert. Correlation isn't causation. Birth rates are higher where there are lots of storks.

@SenAdamSchiff I remember the very good reasons you were removed from the intelligence committee. No one in the world has more standing to discuss weaponized intelligence than you.

My thoughts go out to Tulsi Gabbard and her family, as her husband battles this serious health problem. I hope and pray that he makes a speedy and full recovery. While the circumstances around her departure are deserving of our sympathy, let’s be clear: Tulsi Gabbard’s only positive contribution to our nation's national security is her resignation. She politicized intelligence. She dismantled critical agencies keeping Americans safe. She weaponized the IC to pursue baseless election fraud claims. And more. We must ensure that her tenure — marked by a devotion to the person of the president and not to the security of the country — represents a terrible exception at DNI and not the new normal.

One thing to watch for, that I believe is under-covered in this KY-04 primary between Rep. Thomas Massie and Ed Gallrein, is who gets the most votes. That’ll be a huge factor in who wins that race.

Muslims are not dangerous. We are human beings like everyone else, with families, love, care, and ordinary lives. Our faith teaches compassion, not hatred. Our Prophet taught respect and mercy. Yes, there are a few extremists who distort our religion and bring shame to it, but they do not represent the vast majority of Muslims. So why is it that many still get profiled and treated as suspects? Is it fear, or hate?

@chiky_handlr @DracoBeauty Agree 200%. If they won't follow the constitution, then we must change the constitution. Expanding the court to 13 and term limits is what America needs to sanitize an institution thats infected with scum, politics and corrupted by money. Our faith in this SCOTUS is shaken.

@GraciesWorld3 @chiky_handlr If you were to think this through, you probably wouldn't want President Trump to be in office to sign your bill because he would then appoint the four new justices.

@chiky_handlr They need a simple majority and the president's signature in order to do this. Of course Trump won't sign it, so then they need a two-thirds majority. to pass it. We don't even have a simple majority at the moment, so unfortunately, this can't happen right now.
