@_izodlalaiTv So, even here at home, VAR may be introduced, if a decision favours Chiefs the VAR officials could dec8de not to call the ref to the screen 🙈

@mrkstravelclub We wonder nothing! Agents, CEOs, Club owners, Coaches, Journos cannot stand or appreciate Chiefs' historical success. They will do whatever it takes to keep talent away from Chiefs. Leaders that they are, Chiefs find a way. Zim(Musona), DDC(Mdu), locals playing abroad,(Cele)etc

South African agents are destroying talents 🚨🥺🇿🇦 The Same Kodisang , Kaizer Chiefs was willing to pay 💰 huge amount of salary before Joining Mamelodi Sundowns 👆🏼🇿🇦🚨 ✅ Kaizer Chiefs was pushing so hard to sign Kodisang from his overseas club. ✅ The problem was the signing fee , what I have noticed about Kaizer Chiefs they don’t believe on making another club Rich 🤑 but they believe ,they have to make a player Rich 🤑 ✅ Kaizer Chiefs felt so unreasonable to sign a player that will be out of contract with a huge fee. ✅But what they promised him it gold , they were willing to pay 💰 him a lot of money per month. ✅ There no team in the league that values their players like Kaizer Chiefs, we pay a lot for players. ✅That why I keep saying we don’t have good agents in South Africa, agents are destroying their own players for money. ✅ Look now his future at Mamelodi Sundowns is uncertain, no game time . Now they are loaning him to Stellenbonch until contract End. He will end up playing for small teams. ✅ That why Pule Moddi ended up firing his agent to make a move to Kaizer Chiefs. South African agents are destroying talents 🚨🥺🇿🇦

@Mabutho_Amo @mrkstravelclub Forever ready to believe the worst about Chiefs. Yet, 56 years later, the well run team is still doing business that neva fails to deliver to their stakeholders always, consistently and timeously😏

@mrkstravelclub Then you wonder why the teams don't sell to you. That is not negotiating in bad faith. If you want a player, pay the signing on fee. If not, let the team that's willing to pay sign. The agent has nothing to say here. Only the team can decide who to sell to.

@mrkstravelclub Agree! My concern isn't our squad. My concern is officials who are so scared of Chiefs' success that they will not give an obvious foul to us, coz they fear opposing fans (thanks to Pitso). My fear is the delay in introducing VAR, coz, as soon as they do, i'Khosi will lead!

🚨🇿🇦Kaizer Chiefs got a lot of good players more than Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates combined. ✅Kaizer Chiefs got a lot of good players, in almost every position. ✅Some of the players Like Msimango, McCarthy, Dortley , Lileppo , Duba etc are coming back from Injuries. ✅ We also still have players Like Silva, Mayo , Ighadaro, Velebayi , Maboe , Ndlovu etc who just came in , signing more players means we have bench our recently signings. ✅ We have untouched Shinga , Chisllet and Mabaso , Hlongwane still looking for game time. ✅ Kaizer Chiefs only need a chemistry within players and a fighting spirit. ✅Our coach have to find a right combinations. We are 4 point behind Orlando Pirates 🏴‍☠️ , anything can happen , no pressure just win remaining games. Do You Agree or Disagree ?

Ademola Lookman is just 1 AFCON goal behind Jay Jay Okocha despite still having 15 years to play. Our parents exaggerated and lied to us about how good Jay Jay Okocha was and we swallowed everything without looking at the stats

@thomasmlambo Morocco has been favoured by some decisions. But I hope they lift the cup without controversy as a reward for putting up such a sterling AFCON and for their recent FIFA WC showing🙉 Going forward, no more home decisions please👏🏽. Let football be the winner

It's the final battle of #AFCON25 and the hosts are aiming for their first title in over 40 years while the Senegalese will likely have the backing of a large part of the continent. How do you see this panning out?

@mrkstravelclub Isn't that losing control Quinton? The team has a good development structure. PSL teams can only have 5 foreign players. Selling shares to buy 5bforeign players and ignore development like Sundowns ??? No thanks👏🏽

Kaizer Chiefs Won't Go Far Without Financial Power," Quinton Fortune Claims Quinton Fortune: "Kaizer Chiefs won’t go far unless the owners are willing to sell more than 50% of the club’s shares to a billionaire. This would give the team the financial muscle needed to compete with the big clubs in Africa." "Look at clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, PSG, and Manchester City. They have financial power, even though their original owners hold less than 40% of the shares. But those owners have vision and big goals for their clubs to win trophies and compete on the biggest stages, like the Champions League and the Club World Cup." "Kaizer Chiefs' owners wouldn’t lose anything by selling 51% or more of the club to a major organization or investment company from places like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or even wealthy investors from the United States. A wealthy individual or company injecting real cash into the club could transform it into a team that competes on the biggest stages of football." "I understand that football is a business, and the current owners would actually gain more in the long run. Winning trophies brings massive reputational benefits, attracts big sponsors, fills stadiums with passionate fans, and boosts merchandise sales. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.

@FOOTSA_ Love this analysis. Makes a lot of sense to me. I've seen Thabo trying to take control of that midfield; trying to dictate terms; being honest and true to his skills set. All of a sudden, he has to chase back, possession lost. Downs' coach once commented about this too. Spoton!

Why Thabo Cele has struggled to be fully influential in the Betway Premiership A holding midfielder often struggles in a transition-heavy football competition because the role is designed for control, while the Betway Premiership rewards chaos, speed, and directness. Here’s how that mismatch plays out. Note: Kamohelo Mokotjo was very similar. 1. The role needs structure, not the constant chaos in the Betway Prem In transition-heavy leagues, games are broken up by: •Turnovers every few seconds •Long balls and second balls •End-to-end moments This removes the “pause” the No.6 needs to read the game. Instead of screening calmly, they’re constantly reacting, which is not where they’re strongest. 2. They get bypassed too easily Transition leagues often favour: •Vertical passes •Early balls into channels •Direct runners This means play frequently skips the midfield zone entirely. When that happens: •The holding midfielder is taken out of the game defensively •Opponents attack space behind them before they can set their position They end up chasing shadows rather than dictating space. 3. Physical demands expose limitations Transition-heavy competitions are brutal physically: •Repeated sprints •Recovery runs •1v1 defensive duels in open space Many holding midfielders are: •Positionally strong •Technically secure •Not explosive over long distances Once transitions happen repeatedly, their lack of pace or agility is exposed, especially against dynamic box-to-box midfielders. 4. Decision-making time disappears A holding midfielder’s biggest weapon is time: •Time to scan •Time to choose safe angles •Time to slow the tempo In fast-transition environments: •Presses arrive instantly •Mistakes are punished immediately •There’s no margin for conservative play This forces rushed decisions, turnovers, and loss of confidence. Bottom line A transition-heavy competition like the Betway Premiership exposes a holding midfielder’s biggest weakness: they need order to impose control. When football becomes about speed, chaos, and constant vertical movement, the No.6 is forced to survive instead of dominate, and that’s why they often struggle. Closing definition: Holding midfielder (No.6): Sits in front of the defence to control space and tempo. Defensive midfielder: Focuses on winning the ball and stopping attacks. Box-to-box midfielder: Covers the whole pitch, defends and attacks with high energy (perfect for the Betway Prem) A holding midfielder can reinvent their game to suit the Betway Prem by attacking with and without the ball. •With the ball: carry it into space to draw defenders and open lanes •Without the ball: make runs into pockets to support attacks •Always move: turn control into consistent attacking influence. #BetwayPrem #FootballSA

He eventually buys a 6 pack of beer and leaves behind 24 Savannahs . When I get to the the till , they lady says the guy was having problems with his " Pay just now " . Asked her what that is , it's a facility that allows you to buy now and finish off the transactions with 2 instalments deducted on pay day for the next 2 months 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

We lost to tactical superiority. Morocco didn’t allow us play our game and we didn’t get a Plan B. They should have finished off the game from first half. Individual brilliance of Bassey (& to a good extent Nwabali & Bruno/Osayi) kept us in the game till the end. Our MF & attack effectively neutralized. The tactically superior team won.
