This is a thread 🧵 of random #BharatSarkar cars. It’s like caste system on roads. God only knows if they are truly govt cars or what. Will also post other designations. Others are welcome to post.

@Sanjay_Sriv @DoC_GoI @DPIITGoI @investindia Bhai, have you ever dealt with a state industries dept? You have zero idea of the bureaucracy, the greed and sheer blocking mentality of babus. You want plug & play? Most industries need their own Gensets due to patchy power supply. Stop tweeting to get attn and Sarkari laddu.

India is playing a long and fast game to attract and absorb manufacturing investments. 🏭 4-month window opened for states to propose 50 new industrial parks under the ₹33,600 crore national BHAVYA scheme. Initiatives: • Parks sized 10 to 1,000 acres (flexible) • Centre provides major infra funding • States contribute land + some funding • First 20 applications get priority approval • Part of broader 2026-32 industrial push. Strategy: 1. Identify 100 products with high export potential 2. Map technology gaps & import dependence 3. Push industry associations & states to act fast 4. Create plug-and-play infrastructure instead of waiting for investors to build everything. Implications: 1. Faster turnaround from investment announcement to actual production. 2. Reduced risk for companies (ready land + power + roads). 3. Healthy competition between states. 4. Strong signal to global supply chains looking for China+1 destinations. This is serious industrial policy planning with coordinated action between Centre, States, and industry. The next wave of manufacturing investments has a clearer landing zone. By @JagotaMukesh

It’s not slavery and it’s the usual lazy journalism by @ndtv finest @ShivAroor It is however indicative that our demographic dividend is now heading to demographic disaster territory. As others have pointed out, quite likely that India will be stuck in the Middle Income Trap.
Akshay Jogani@kshayjogani

The "slavery" framing is lazy. Delhi's minimum wage for unskilled labor is around Rs 18,000 a month, which works out to roughly Rs 70 per hour over an 8-hour day. Carrymen is paying 2x that for ad-hoc gig work. Porters have existed at Indian Railways forever. Caddies at golf clubs. Bellhops at hotels. Coolies at every mandi in the country. The only thing new here is a brand that takes ownership of experience and hourly pricing instead of a tip economy. What's actually happening is informal labor moving onto a platform. That means ratings, dispute resolution, predictable demand, and eventually PF/ESI coverage. Organizing the supply side has compounding benefits. Urban Company partners can now show platform income to qualify for personal loans. Rapido and Swiggy riders get accident cover and access to phone and two-wheeler EMIs. India's informal sector is around 80% of total employment. Every platform that drags a slice of that into the formal economy widens the tax base, raises measured productivity, and shifts margin from the contractor or household back to the worker. Slavery means coercion, no exit, no wages. India has actual bonded labor in brick kilns and agricultural debt traps. Applying the word to a consensual gig porter app trivializes the people who are genuinely trapped. If you're uncomfortable with someone being paid Rs 149 to carry your shopping bags, the discomfort is yours to sit with. The work was always being done. It was just being done by domestic help paid in cash with no rights.

@gauravsabnis Demographic dividend is now disaster. Another indicator of how India heading for middle income trapped. So far we have not had the violence that accompanies it - like Brazil. That’s partlywhy GoI hands out freebies - keep people on survival line & just enough so they don’t rage.

@Jyotiraditya_Ch @nayyardhiraj Bhayya, the EAC-PM are advisors. Not one of them is a gazetted officer. Do look up what that means. They literally don’t have signing authority to get anything done. Even if they make the decisions, some Gazetted Officer has to sign the paperwork for them.

If I am not wrong, the Government is without a Finance Secretary for around a year. Usually, one of the 5 secretaries who head various departments is designated FS. The role, first among equals, has an important role in coordination and being a single focal point. At a time of economic stress, is this a miss?

@kawal279 No support for MSME ecosystem in India. All the band 🥁 baaja is for Startups! Seeing entrepreneurship through lens of startup is stupidity. Not all MSMEs will scale like Startup but all startups are MSMEs. Not able to fix MSME ecosystem GoI launched @startupindia

On this thing, I disagree with Shiv sir. New generation should grab every opportunity to build business. Take every help possible from everywhere. Entrepreneurship should not only be about struggling & starting from 0. We need MSMEs who feed minimum 100 families 🚀

I was a 9 year old in 2012, and even I remember my Aai-Baba panicking over this news, in MUMBAI. I remember them calling their parents and hearing the news that places like Bhopal and Chandrapur were facing 12-19 hour blackouts. Things like this is one of the biggest reasons why I, as a now 22 year old will keep voting for BJP. Because I grew up seeing the effects of the Congress rule in India. Yes, BJP has it's faults, and I'll continue to criticize them all fucking day. But I'll be damned to let #THEM back in power again. Fuck no.

@JoshiJi_ @TrulyMonica Bang on. It’s amazing how blind people are. Previous FCRA amendment was backdated to 1975 for electoral donations. BJP did not even exist then. It was Jana Sangh.

Last time they brought FCRA amendments, they conveniently protected their own illegally accumulated foreign funded assets by making the changes retrospective all the way back to 1976. Now the real question is.. which new dark deeds is this government preparing to hide behind another FCRA amendment this time?

India is all set to bring the FCRA bill which will confiscate the assets of missionaries if their license is cancelled. No wonder Gor is visiting Mother Terasa’s org to signal India that this won’t be accepted. Very honest about their mischief 😈

@TrulyMonica Keep smoking. @BJP4India has not used FCRA to clamp down on Madrasas funding by King Faisal Fdn @_KFF_ or World Muslim League @WML_92. Could have done this anytime since 2014 but instead used the revised FCRA Act to exempt themselves and @INCIndia from declaring foreign funding.

@over2shailaja The court should have apologised to the three academics. And then discussed how SC will prosecute Judge Yashwant Verma. Oh wait, I must be smoking some Manali ganja because that’s not going to happen.

Supreme Court Lifts Ban On 3 Academics Who Wrote NCERT Chapter On Judiciary, Removes Adverse Comments It is reassuring that the Apex Court has modified its earlier ex parte order concerning the three academics. Matters affecting professional reputation and academic standing are best decided after hearing all concerned, particularly when the issues involved are sensitive and have wider institutional implications. The larger issue was never confined to three individuals alone, but concerned the manner in which complex historical subjects are presented in school material. Institutions such as NCERT carry a special responsibility because what is written for children has a lasting impact. A balanced approach would ensure that students understand institutions and history in their entirety — including the strengths, achievements, shortcomings, and the capacity for correction and reform. Children must learn what is necessary to sustain a democracy. share.google/zrQfWqbkkVDZ3N…

Before judging, it may be worth checking the IPS Uniform Rules. Officers are permitted discretion to wear civil dress during office work/informal meetings. If this was an office जनसुनवाई and not an operational duty, criticism of IPS @prachiIPS seems unnecessary.

@myogiadityanath @dgpup @adgzonelucknow @igrangeayodhya

@kawal279 @chiragbarjatya People need to get out of this ban mentality. I don’t eat meat. But I have no problem with those who do or restaurants serving meat in a religious area. Always find it funny that people don’t eat meat on Tuesday or someday or after temple visit. Either eat or don’t eat. Nonsense
