Royal Oak has declared a snow emergency effective Sunday, January 25 at 10:00 PM. All vehicles must be moved off of roads and streets by the start of the emergency. Failure to move vehicles may result in ticketing and/or towing.

At approx. 6:30 AM, ROPD responded to Corewell Hospital on the report of a bomb threat. Working jointly with hospital staff, the investigation quickly determined that the threat was not credible & there was no danger to the public or facility. The incident remains under invest.
