This was a nice comment to see in this weeks Weekly Worker. I've been feeling quite disheartened by the whole Your Party saga. Thank you David Rüper, whoever you are, this has given me a real boost. I will try to write a response to your whole letter over the weekend.

am informed it is even more bizarre. apparently Corbyn has presided over effectively a split within ICI, 9 out of 13 candidates sticking with the official ICI group who are working with Islington YP, while Corbyn's with the minority of four, and has declined to endorse the others

None of this is correct.

I'm surprised at the candidacy of some people who are standing in your party CEC, claims of campaigning in Islington yet unknown in the community. Please vote for @TheManyYP @cllrbegum (Noor Jahan Begum) and @TahirMirzaPTI in London. They are great campaigners.

Steve Baker, on national TV, attacking both George Osborne and Ed Balls for expanding the money supply while constraining the supply of new housing (thereby leading to spiralling house prices and rising asset inequality). He's right!

@sianberry @Elaine4Kemptown @lloyd_rm Removing Lloyd as the Labour candidate in Kemptown wasn't strategic or procedural, it was driven by spite and factionalism.
My conscience will not allow me to keep quiet on this issue. It is right to step up and call out this abusive bullying behaviour.

@sianberry @Elaine4Kemptown @lloyd_rm was a dedicated public servant and had shown himself to be immensely loyal and a great asset to Labour.
As a personal friend, I can see how much his treatment by the party leadership has hurt him.

On a recent visit to Oyugis #Kenya with @otiendeotiende, it was a pleasure to meet Peter Otieno and his son Wayne Brown.
Wayne is an exemplary student who hopes to study medicine at university. The foundation has been supporting his school attendance through a new bursary.

In court for the GMB3 seems the prosecution admit they weren't on the public highway when they were arrested and therefore can't provide evidence that they were obstructing the highway...seems case is over...the GMB3 are FREE and INNOCENT/NOT GUILTY, as they've stated all along!

The charges of obstructing a public highway were dismissed within 5 minutes, when video evidence proved that the #GMB3 were standing on private land.
The case never should have gone to court, but it's good to see that justice has been done.

Today I was at Brighton magistrates court with dozens of others in support of the #GMB3.
These trade union organisers were arrested during a lawful industrial dispute with Biffa during May 2022.
