@NotThatTimD @scottew Lots of flavors to play with. What you described is called FPV, the type you’d find on a racing circuit. There are as many variations of drone as you’d find cars on the road. All tailored to the job you want them to do. For simple first time flyers that take vid, stick with DJI

@scottew @Rustin OK, I'm going to have to get one. A friend has one with a visual headset and can fly it through a house room to room. I've been avoiding because it's likely to be a huge time waster.

Drone shows are awesome right now because the degree of difficulty is extremely high but also the resulting image resembles early computer graphics

@NotThatTimD @scottew Meaning the payoff is has significantly more impact than the amount of preproduction involved. You’d think a lot more work went into the creation.

@maiab @scottew Expensive for sure. Logistically challenging. Technically pretty straight forward.

@scottew why is it difficult? I don’t know anything about anything but I guess my assumption was that it was easy, maybe expensive (and honestly maybe not) but not complicated
