NEW: A 20-year-old woman went blind after wearing contact lenses in the shower during a trip to the Dominican Republic. Grace Jamison was exposed to tap water containing a microscopic parasite which got trapped under her lenses and embedded into her corneas, causing a severe infection. She was initially misdiagnosed and given steroid drops that made it worse. Within one week, she lost all vision in both eyes. After the correct diagnosis, she began intensive anti-parasitic treatment with eye drops every 30-60 minutes. The treatment is expected to last 6 months to a year. She has now regained partial vision in her left eye only. Never expose contact lenses to any water. This is brutal.

@VitoComedy Sadly, the cat did not make it. He had clampped down through her chest. Removing her cause bleedout and collapsed lung. She struggled for about 7 or so minutes, but we couldn't have saved Moonnight after that damage. Marley, the dog, also did not survive, just so you know.

@VitoComedy Today's parents are useless! About 4 years ago, one of our mixed dogs was in heat and went nuts on the cat late one night. He pinned her in his maul. My 69 yr old Mom rushed out & literally forced his mouth open as we slept. I took over to protect her as Dad took the cat in.

Reminder that a major point of going to war with Iran was to stop their nuclear capabilities. Their nuclear facilities were essentially untouched in the air campaign, and all their enriched uranium is 100% in the control of the IRGC. Why is this being widely ignored?
