President Aleksandar Vučić of the Republic of Serbia met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. President Murmu thanked President Vučić for participating in the AI Impact Summit, and said that given Serbia and India’s competence in the field of Artificial Intelligence, it is an area where we can deepen our collaboration. The two leaders also agreed that there is immense potential for furthering cooperation between the two countries, particularly in sectors like information technology, manufacturing, agriculture, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, tourism and education.

Razgovarali smo o načinima za produbljivanje saradnje u oblastima kao što su odbrana, proizvodnja, Demokratska revolucionarna institucija (DPI), đubriva i infrastruktura. Indija i Srbija godinama tesno sarađuju i uveren sam da će naše veze dobiti još veći zamah u budućnosti. @avucic

Met President Aleksandar Vučić on the sidelines of the India AI Impact Summit. We discussed ways to deepen cooperation in areas such as defence, manufacturing, DPI, fertilisers and infrastructure. For many years, India and Serbia have worked closely and I am confident our ties will gain even more momentum in the times to come. @avucic

An exceptionally substantive, very friendly and productive meeting with the Prime Minister of India, @narendramodi. We devoted particular attention to cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, the pharmaceutical industry, education, and the exchange of experts. I emphasized that Serbia views India as a reliable and strategically important partner in Asia, and that we are committed to deepening our economic exchange and encouraging new investment projects. I am confident that through joint efforts we can further strengthen the ties between our two countries and open a new chapter of cooperation in a time of rapid global change. Ahead of the opening of @OfficialINDIAai, I conveyed that Serbia seeks to intensify cooperation with India, especially in the areas of information technologies, innovation, and digital transformation, as we believe that together we can create sustainable investments and foster growth to our mutual benefit. I am convinced that our country is on the right path to contributing to global efforts in artificial intelligence and technology through cultivating our young talent and developing innovative approaches. I also took the opportunity to invite Prime Minister Modi to visit Serbia, so that we may continue the dialogue we have initiated and further develop projects of shared interest. I believe that such a visit would provide a strong impetus to continue deepening our bilateral relations.
