2023 - the year I truly lived 🌍
I started 2023 lost. Having traveled for 18 months risking every penny I had to keep my content career alive. This was a pivotal year for my journey as an entertainer. If I fail this year - I fail the last 7 years of my life, & I fail everyone around me.
If I fail 2023, there is no longer an "Arab". Failure isn't an option.
What started as a young creator traveling to keep his career alive, quickly turned into an addiction for exploration. But 18 months of exploring the nicest parts of life, I knew there was more to it than rooftops & bars. What about the forgotten parts of the world? We never get to hear their story. I want to hear their story.
This year I lived. I lived for myself sure, but I lived to put good into the world. I lived for my children who will be able to look back decades from now & see their father's entire life documented. I lived for my viewers to see that in a world where they tell you "mistakes aren't okay", mistakes are okay. You must live & you must learn. You must be willing to try new things & step out of your bubble to see all that life has to offer.
You reading this right now have a completely different perspective on life than I. You could be reading from the Slums of India, or from a Penthouse in Dubai... well I guess that basically is India. Bad comparison. Point is, we all have different perspectives. The world is vast, something we often forget due to how accessible a plane ticket is. The world is meant to be seen, to open your perspective to different ways of life, cultures, religions, and different humans. HUMANS. We are all human, one species, and we often forget that.
That brings us here -- 1,000,000 Subscribers gained in 2023. Having lived so much this year, the most common question I get is "are you not afraid?" -- Truth is, I am. I'm always afraid. But I'm more afraid of looking back when I'm 60, heart beating fine, having died in my early 20's stuck in a loop for the rest of my life. I'm most afraid of having not lived.
Happy New Years, see you in 2024 🥂
