@Kekius_Sage My simple view is that present actions shape the future. However, the hypothesis of retrocausality implies that future actions or present adjustments rewrite past ones. And 🧳 no travelling scientists required.

Plot twist: What if future humans are doing their job trying to protect us from a world-ending event tied to these scientists, something they “accidentally” create later that becomes uncontrollable? So removing them now would actually be a completely valid way to stop it.

success has somehow hurt openai their main issue right now is resources, not the model. chatgpt has a massive user base (close to a billion), and 80% use it for random or low-value tasks. that creates huge compute demand so they have to cut costs, optimize hard, and sometimes reduce capabilities
