@ScootieGWH @JimSpenceDundee The point I'm making here is that the 5 players were laying in the second tier at the same time. The current Scotland squad is dismal excepting Robertson and Tierney.

The Championship is murder. Eye bleeding stuff. Not doubting the effort or commitment but quality is very thin on the ground.

@Stephen4_2 @JimSpenceDundee Not sure I understand what you are saying here. 6 players in a decade. The current Scotland is full of guys who have played in the lower leagues in Scotland in the last 10 years. Two with Thistle. That shows that the lower leagues are producing quality players.

@JimSpenceDundee In the late 70s in the Scottish second tier, you had Fitzpatrick, McGarvey, Stark at St Mirren, Strachan at Dundee, Cooper at Clydebank and McGhee at Morton. Compare that with what's in the Championship currently.
