David protein missed the mark so badly. Severely overestimated how badly people want to be healthy again. Easy to say in hindsight, but most people dont care about an additional 70 calories anymore. People just want food that tastes real and helps them accomplish ther goals. As a supplement guru, I was excited when these bars came out, but not because they were low calorie and high protein. Flop of the century leaning into macros. Very quickly they started to taste like synthetic laughy taffy and my pallet repulsed them. Probably for good reason. If you’re looking for a good protein bar, eat Jacob, Equip, or Promix. Good, real ingredients and taste good. Only bars I’ve found myself not hating after spamming.
