I hate when $TSLA bears turn into bulls because the stock has been doing great. You are either a bull or a bear. Stop changing sides like a fish out of water. You endure the hard times and enjoy the good times. You can't have it one way. That's how you lose credibility.

@amitisinvesting Funny - I've had my shares for about three years. The day I saw this past shareholder meeting, I stopped writing covered calls - time to ride 🎢!

$TSLA TESLA COVERED CALLS: Okay, so if you sold the $220 call expiring this Friday, you got wrecked because $TSLA is at $226 right now. It could come back to $220 in a few days but the trend is to the upside. So, let’s say you bought 100 shares right now at $226. That’s $22,600. You could: 1.) Sell the $250 CC for 7/26 and get $6.80 a share or $680 a contract, which is a 3% return in under one month. Now earnings are on 7/23, so if Tesla crushes…$250 is possible and your shares could get called away. 2.) Sell the $300 CC for 12/20 and get $14.05 a share or $1405 a contract, which is a 6.2% return. Can Tesla get to $300 by December? Possibly, that would imply another 30% move from today and another $210B added to Tesla’s market cap. Are you selling any covered calls here or just letting your position ride?
