What’s the role of local governments ? Let me rephrase, is there a need for decentralization of service delivery? Only 10% of the country’s budget is controlled by the district stakeholders yet they receive 90% of the pressure from the locals. Am I communicating???

They faced life this hard. My anger culminates from the fact that we fought to change this but we are all part of it and no body seems to take them on!!! Wake Up Uganda my mother land

In Africa, this is how 80% of us grew up. Vulnerable to everything, disease, rodents, fleas, bedbugs, etc... we hardly saw blankets on our skin in the night or even hot water. These guys embezzling COVID-19 loan cash know our bodies are resistant to it by proxy.

Actually the vulnerable poor don’t even have phones at all or they sold them off for transport back to the villages. So who are you sending the money? How shall we audit this process? Isn’t it when all mobile money software will be upgraded and information goes missing?

. Why do leave a lot of questions unanswered during financial dispensation? Why not leave the COVID19 task forces do their work? Provide the money, ask for accountability, that it!!! Why do u want to send money to numbers with debt, none registered, stolen, and others?

It’s with regret that till now we have failed to decentralize public funds for effective use. The Prime Minister’s office has had scandal after scandal but trillions of shillings are still passed through this den of thieves.
