@EzraACohen Bought a cup of Clementine mandarin oranges from a Loves a few hours ago, ate them 20 minutes ago, and opened up X to see this post. I didn't ask an employee if they had any, paid in cash, & both camera lenses on phone are taped over. Anyone know what's going on with this?

The Clementine mandarin oranges sold in stores are increasingly flavorless. Does anyone know what's going on with this?

@White_RhinoCap @newstart_2024 @buckedup I believe it was during this appearance on Diary of a CEO that Rhonda Patrick cited a study showing creatine gummies on the market have almost no creatine in them. Had something to do with difficulty in dosing when dealing with gummy.

Rhonda Patrick dropped a wild science nugget on Diary of a CEO. It made me rewind twice. After 21 hours with zero sleep, a single high dose of creatine (~25-30g or 0.35 g/kg) didn’t just fix the brain fog. It made people perform better than when fully rested. (Key 2024 study by Gordji-Nejad et al. using brain imaging.) I’ve powered through too many all-nighters on caffeine and stubbornness. This felt like a real cheat code. It makes you wonder what else our biology can do with the right fuel. Would you try a high-dose creatine reset on your roughest sleep-deprived days? Or does 25-30g sound insane?

@PhilHollowayEsq "Yes, the death penalty can legally be put on the table, because the common legal rule preventing harsher sentences on retrial does not apply when the state never sought capital punishment in the first place."

@PhilHollowayEsq This is normally the case, but I ran it past Grok yesterday and, while I didn't have time to grasp all the nuances, it essentially came down to the jury did not consider the death penalty in the first case, so it can be on the table for a second trial.

This false narrative spread fast! Legally it would be nearly impossible for Alex Murdaugh to get a harsher sentence if convicted upon retrial SCOTUS held decades ago that such is presumptively “vindictive” Courts can’t punish someone for exercising their right to appeal
FOX 5 Atlanta@FOX5Atlanta

Prosecutors could seek the death penalty against Alex Murdaugh if he is found guilty again at a new trial after the state Supreme Court overturned his murder convictions. fox5atlanta.com/news/alex-murd…

- This is 2026 - A guy named Colle Alen tries to kill Trump inside the White House - An X account from 2023 wrote a single tweet with that name - The profile belongs to Henry Martinez, a NASA scientist, missing -The background image is from a website called "Time Machine" - If you de-digitize it, the 2024 assassination attempt photo appears but with a hole in the head instead of the ear - The profile picture is a green toad in a tuxedo with a glass - Exactly like Trump in the assassination attempt Either it's the most elaborate psy-op in history Or someone from the future is leaving clues in the past that only make sense once the events happen.

@IvoryHecker I remember reading in the WSJ that it was cheaper to just pay the fine for noncompliance. These laws are written to fail.

UPDATE: Hospitals are now required by law to post their prices online. This was meant to stop the practice of patients getting blindsided with surprise mega-bills, aka predatory billing. At a hearing this week in Congress, witness Elizabeth Mitchell said only 69% of hospitals are complying with that law, and the price info they do put out “is increasingly unusable.” An investigation of hospital price variation showed it’s common for a hospital to charge one patient one thing and charge another patient 10 times more for the same procedure. Here’s that report: static1.squarespace.com/static/60065b8… Price transparency advocates are pushing people to call or write their elected officials to demand that the law be enforced. Have you ever been price gouged by a hospital? Let me know your thoughts!👇🏼 #hospitalfacts #partner

@GrayAreaNews @RedPandaKoala AATIP operated from 2007 to 2012, overlapping with the period covered by Snowden's leaked NSA documents. AATIP's existence was not referenced in any of the Snowden disclosures. The program only became public knowledge in 2017 through reporting by The New York Times.

@David_J_Bier @CatoInstitute Honest question: when these tens of millions of undocumented workers age, will their meager individual entitlement contributions not be negated by inevitable trips to the emergency room and long term lifesaving treatments (such as dialysis) which are required by law?

Today @CatoInstitute published our report providing the first look at the fiscal effects of the wave of legal & illegal immigration over the last 3 decades. It shows immigrants created surpluses every year, by a combined $14.5 trillion, even as deficits grew
