Key Royal Houses & Kings: AmaXhosa (Gcaleka): King Ahlangene Cyprian Vulikhaya Sigcawu. [The officially understood senior house.] AmaRharhabe (Xhosa junior house): King Jonguxolo Sandile. AbaThembu: King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo. AmaMpondo: A succession dispute exists, with Princess Wezizwe Sigcau and Prince Yolisa Sigcau representing different claims after the passing of King Zanozuko Tyelovuyo Sigcau. AmaMpondo have 2 Royal houses. AmaMpondo aseNyandeni are headed by King Ndamase Ndamase II.*** AmaMpondomise: King Zwelozuko Luzuko Matiwane. *** The 2nd amaMpondo royal house info was provided by a friend. For those who do not know, amaXhosa have one kingdom (split between amaGcaleka and amaRharhabe. The other royal houses are not officially Xhosa, but their own ethnic groups. Colonial forces miseducated us & formalized the groups as amaXhosa, for their convenience.

A French man traveled to West Africa to reunite with the nanny who cared for him as a child 38 years earlier. After successfully finding her, he gifted her 10 million CFA francs (around $16,000 USD) and arranged a monthly allowance for her. What a touching story of gratitude and kindness! ❤️

@GodPenuel AmaBhaca are not amaXhosa (they're a heterogeneous group that was led by a Zulu descendant, Madzikane kaZulu) & were never embraced by Hintsa, they fought their way into areas they currently occupy, Mt Frere, Mzimkhulu & Ixopo. Their culture & language are different from AmaXhosa

IF YOU'RE XHOSA... YOU'RE PROBABLY MORE ZULU, SWATI, SOTHO THAN YOU THINK. AmaXhosa are a combination of different clans from all of South Africa... including many from present-day KZN, Freestate, eSwatini & Lesotho. Tshawe kaNkosiyamntu would formalize the Xhosa nation. They weren't known as amaXhosa before that. His descendent, Hintsa kaKhawuta would be the one to embrace other groups like amaMfengu, amaHlubi, amaBhaca, amaBhele & others... fleeing from uShaka's Mfecane wars and drought. The modern Xhosa nation is thus a combination of all these groups & more. ----------------------- Hintsa's great-grandfather, uPhalo, birthed 2 sons who split the Xhosa nation in 2: Gcaleka would settle in the Transkei. Rharhabe would settle in the Ciskei. These 2 groups - split by The Kei River - would be reunited after 1994, with the creation of the Eastern Cape Province by the democratic government of uNelson Mandela & the ANC. The clicks in isiXhosa are a product of the Khoekhoe (Khoi) ppl that the ancestors of uTshawe either found, fought with, dominated, or inter-married, when they migrated to South Africa from more central Africa. Arguably, the term Xhosa is from the Khoe language... X'hosa - The Fierce Ones. Others state that uXhosa was an individual who was part of those who migrated South. The most important part: Most of amaXhosa are not blood-related to uHintsa, uPhalo, or uTshawe... but were welcomed into the Xhosa nation after fleeing from uShaka & drought. So there's a huge chance that - as umXhosa today... your ancestors are more prevalent in the Sotho, Zulu, Swati & Khoi nations. WE'RE ALL MORE RELATED THAN YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT. THEY WANT US TO BELIEVE WE'RE NOT ONE PEOPLE. Khoi >> Khoe >> Khoena >> Kwena >> Crocodile in SeSotho/The People of The Crocodile... we're more related than you think/know. End.
