The conspiracy theory that Antifa or BLM incited the Jan 6 insurrection also relies on major logical fallacies.

The False Flag Fallacy
The Claim: Left-wing agitators disguised themselves as MAGA supporters to break into the Capitol and ruin Trump's reputation.
The Flaw: It ignores massive amounts of public evidence. Hundreds of convicted rioters have documented histories of MAGA activism. None have proven ties to Antifa or BLM.
The Contradiction Fallacy
The Claim: The J6 rioters were actually undercover Antifa, but the people arrested are also "political prisoners" and "patriots."
The Flaw: It holds two opposite ideas as true at the same time. You cannot claim the rioters were left-wing enemies while simultaneously celebrating them as right-wing heroes.
