The first one was done alla prima, about 6 hours and with a high contrast reference. I like it for its confidence and dynamism. The second was done over 3 sessions and with a very flat and challenging lighting scenario. I like it for its subtlety and control.

This isn’t an improvement post. I like them both equally for different reasons!
