I know we don’t do it for the awards, but when something you’ve helped develop over a number of years is recognised by the official UK honours system you can’t help feeling a little proud.

Spot the odd one out: lovely holiday in Mauritius, but ended up on a drip in hospital for a couple days with a nasty gastro bug. Hoping for parole today. Amazing doctors & nurses though! Except for the surgeon who wanted to cut me open to rule out appendicitis. He can sod off.

We had to say goodbye to Penny this morning, so sad. Rescued from the streets of Brum when she was very young, she loved her 15 years in the countryside. Such a special, beautiful girl. ❤️🐈

Choosing which coats to take on a short break in the U.K. is tricky. I now get how managers feel when having to decide on their final World Cup squad selection. I’ve just had to tell the Bryan Robson of the coat world that he’s missing his first tournament in years. Sad.
