Hi everyone! I'm Shiba Starfire, a spacefaring Shiba exploring the various worlds of gaming! I was also a top 5% player in MechWarrior Online, but it gets boring in the ship sometimes, so during my redebut in a few weeks I'll be touching down for some more competitive challenges in Pokemon Champions, and traveling through my vast collection of retro games! I've been a VTuber on and off for a few years, but starting now I'll be locking in so I can really take things to the next level. I have a huge love of wacky or unique game controllers, so if you have any cool ones, show them off here! I hope you'll come join my pack of Shibas soon!

@ShibaStarfire Oooh that's unfortunate. I just bind most abilities to the Cyro and my pings, tab, esc, emotes and ultimate goes on the mini stick for ease of use. Tanking with the Cyro makes me feel like a Zaku pilot lmao

@D_Stormunculus CYRO!!! I also have one!! I bought them to use together because I thought that would be super super cool but I don't have the coordination and the Cyro is too heavy for me T.T

@ShibaStarfire Yeah! Money is just tight. Especially when you're a vtuber. (I'm currently setting aside money for a 2.0 so that has to take priority in terms of hobby funds.) 😆

@ShibaStarfire Yeah. I looked it up after figuring out the brand. Probably not going to get one any time soon. But it still looks really cool and I'll probably get one eventually.

@fools_arcanavt I played the first one on GBA a long time ago, but I haven't played most of the others. I've been procrastinating on a half finished playthrough of BoF 4 though!

@ShibaStarfire How are the breath of fire games?

@FlamBarley They're really cool and super satisfying to use! Word of caution though, they're not cheap! If you decide to get one, you gotta commit to figuring it out, the learning curve is VERY steep!

@ShibaStarfire I own the SNES one with its original box and instruction manual, the PlayStation one, and I also purchased it on Steam. I freaking LOVE that game, I play it once a year.

@fools_arcanavt I’ve got 24 carts total for SNES, obv Chrono Trigger, but also FF3(6) TLOZ:ALttP, secret of mana/evermore, BoF and BoF 2 among others!

@ShibaStarfire Still an impressive one to have in that collection! Off the top of my head I should have DKC1, Super Metroid, and Final Fantasy III (VI). Have to double check and we can show off all the retros!

@epiclucas43 I've wanted to for so long, I'm really excited to play it, it's legendary for a reason! I'm so bad though I also own the DS cart T.T

@ShibaStarfire If you play it live I'll watch that stream. CT is a perfect storm, a masterpiece in the shape of a video game, and I always enjoy someone discovering it for the first time.

@fools_arcanavt It is an authentic cart! SNES is one of my smaller collections, but I've got some heavy hitters!

@ShibaStarfire I have the whole xeno series and I need to get to those but also it that an authentic Chrono Trigger!?

@veesmaster I was lucky enough to still have my copy from when it came out! It really is criminally expensive now T.T

@epiclucas43 Would you believe I've actually never played it? I know it's crazy to own the original cart and never have played it but it's in the plans for something live!

@AyotoCorp Once you figure it out though it really is an incredible device. I think there's lot's of people who will over or under sell it, but personally I love using it for MMO's in particular and find it really really good for that!

@ShibaStarfire I mean sure but also a Tartarus is effectively just the WASD section of your keyboard plus funny thumb stick, it's not too out there. I feel like I'd need to rewire my brain to use an Azeron

@AyotoCorp I love this thing!! I used a Razer Tartarus before this so the learning curve wasn't *too* steep.

@vtubermale It's an Azeron Cyborg II. You grip it like a claw, which gives you access to like 36 buttons with mouse click switches so your inputs register instantly on the hardware side. Also has a thumbstick for movement! I have used it in the past for MMORPG's and some shooters!
