@katierazz @britishmuseum A great podcast. One question I had was whether eBay had been asked to assist with the recovery of items? Or would that require a conviction first?

RIP Ittai Gradel. He exposed the thefts @britishmuseum 2000 items stolen, missing or damaged. Ittai was fearless, fascinating, an expert in the classical world - and, after we made our series Thief at the British Museum, a friend. I will miss him terribly bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Secret score was another 7. 21 out of 30 is a definite fail on #SHOTY

Ooft a couple of 7s on #SHOTY. I’d have to burn my home to the ground after that humiliation.

I do wish @exitthelemming was still on here, so we could all tell him that Sam & Ade Go Birding is really quite the loveliest new programme.

@MartinSLewis I called all my friends’ parents and my neighbours by their first names in the 80s.

Was watching an old TV show where the kids didn't call their friend's parents by their first names, but as "Mr Smith" or "Mrs Jones" much as I did in the 80s. Yet it would feel bizarre to me, if my daughter's friends called me Mr Lewis now. When did it change (or has it not for you)?

@WingsScotland Ah well once a year I’d be annoyed with my life choices when I tried to pop to Tesco on Easter Sunday then!

Okay, SOME of you must work in a supermarket and know: where DO Easter eggs go on Easter Sunday? 11.59pm Saturday - millions Easter Sunday - closed 8.01am Easter Monday - none. It surely can’t be economical to send them back, de-package them and melt them down. So… what?

@scottygb I think it may only have been in Scotland but we had extensive footage of Alex Jones and Clara Amfo getting ready for the One Show instead of the 6 o’clock news bulletin on meningitis. They were clearly oblivious to being on tv.

@JudeLeeKiwi I was wondering if it was only Scotland given Sophie Rayworth didn’t mention it at all!

#bbcnews #oneshow think it's only us folk in Scotland that got behind the scenes of The One Show instead of the start of the 6pm news 🤣

Why didn’t Sophie Rayworth make any reference to most of the top story on meningitis being lost to pre show prep for The One Show?!

We will work with the government on sensible proposals to deal with the backlog - which started long before Covid-19 because of underfunding. You don’t fix the backlog with trials that are widely perceived as unfair.

Jury trials are a fundamental part of our democratic settlement. Criminal trials without juries are a bad idea. The Government need to pull their finger out and acquire empty public buildings across the country to make sure these can happen in a way that is safe.

@SianAitken @Gypsypup13 So? No one bothers to feign offence when a newsreader says 'Paris' or 'Moscow' instead of 'Paree' or 'Maskvah'.

If a news reader pronounced any other countries towns names wrong, like the bbc with "Llanelli" there'd be uproar but you can say "lanellllly" and its fine. Make the effort to learn how to say the Welsh words. Its not that hard.

@SianAitken @Gypsypup13 what difference does it make? I don't get offended when someone from Fife pronounces Glasgow as "Glasssss-co", it's just the way it comes out in their accent.
