I am delighted to witness the establishment of Taiwan-Somaliland Parliamentary Friendship association. I express my gratitude to Honorable Legislature, @minorta, in particular, for organising and initiating this historic occasion. I am aware that this historic event will strengthen the unique bond between our two great nations.

Constructive meeting about regional challenges, including economic ones, was held today between @DahabshiilGroup, @Telesomcompany, @LaasGroup, Chamber of Commerce #SLCCIA and @US2SOMALIA & @USAIDSomalia. Public-private partnerships are the best approach.

As Somaliland is the closest country to Taiwan in terms of geographical proximity, we offer for Taiwanese businesses an economic gateway to East Africa, which comprises 19 countries with a combined population of 500 million people.

It was an honour that AmCham Taichung , a non-profit US business organisation in Taichung invited me as a guest speaker, presenting my nation's economic potentials, investment opportunities and Taiwan-Somaliland special relationship and strategic cooperation.

Last night at @SilanyoNLibrary, a discussion on youth activism and their role in development. @HargeysaCC staff member @hafsaomersh was part of the discussion where she talked about role of women and girls in youth activities in Somaliland.
