Recently, I was asked to return to @OxfordUnion to take part in a debate about islam. Initially I was interested, until they told me I’d be debating @TRobinsonNewEra. Not to remotely equate myself with him but I remembered the words of Imam Al-Shafi’i: "If I were to argue with one thousand knowledgeable people I would surely win. But if I were to argue with one fool, I would lose". I didn’t oblige.
