@cessonmute A similar situation happened to me but it was my kidneys. I stayed in the hospital for 3 days and my body was essentially failing and they sent me home. A month later I was diagnosed with lupus after I only had 19% functionality in my kidneys.

i took my sister to the doctor because she had been losing weight fast, throwing up every morning, and couldn’t keep food down. she kept telling them something felt wrong in her stomach. the doctor laughed and said she was probably trying a new diet or dealing with “women’s nerves.” he told her to eat smaller meals and stop worrying so much. for months she went back and got the same answer. eventually she collapsed at home from dehydration and pain. in the er they finally did scans and found advanced stomach cancer that had been growing for years. the oncologist said if it had been caught earlier, her chances would have been much better. all that time she wasn’t being dramatic. she was begging for help. believe women.
