@Yuvena9 @SimMattically it’s definitely annoying being that you have to use your money to buy everything you already have again, but imo steam is so much better for running the sims 3 and has never given me a single problem since i switched from origin/EA app

@Yuvena9 @SimMattically i know it’s not really a convenient way to solve this, but i had the same problem with the sims 3 to the point where my game couldn’t even start up the launcher, so i just switched to steam and slowly bought all my expansions back on there instead 😭 no problems with mods since !

has anyone ever had a problem with origin where they press play and the sims 3 won’t open the launcher? even when i try to do it manually it won’t even show a loading symbol next to the cursor when i double click on it. any help is appreciated!

and i should mention that i got a new hard drive, and that my computer had a factory reset. so basically as soon as i tried to download all the expansions as well as base game for the sims 3, after it was done downloading it wouldn’t launch the launcher when i pressed play.
