Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder; Truth comes only thru Wisdom to separate information from knowledge; Courage takes no refuge in the ignorance of others.

I seriously doubt that Trump would strike a deal with Iran a day after it’s revealed that his daughter was the target of the Iranian regime’s assassination attempt. I just don’t see it happening.

@gummibear737 Frank Zappa said information is not knowledge, knowledge is not wisdom & wisdom is not truth. -Recipes are not equipping the kitchen. -Equipping a kitchen is not pre-heating the oven. -Pre-heating the oven is not making a rue or whipping a meringue. - Truth is AI = @DoorDash

I'd like to make a nuanced counter to this point of view, because I have a completely different learning style than the traditional "read lots of books" system that is pushed by universities AI is a godsend for me to understand a topic or issue before I start populating my brain with the facts/details related to it If the purpose of an education is to learn many different things then making students read long books is not at all efficient Not saying there's no place for reading full academic books, but AI can be an amazing tool for learning I agree with the point that AI can help people "counterfeit knowledge", but that's why you have to push people on critical thinking (applying that knowledge) to see if they really understood the topic in the first place. So that's on the professors As I've said many times, AI is not actually capable of critical thinking so it's not all that hard to get over the "counterfeit knowledge" problem. And besides, lots of people in Academia with exceptional memorization skills have been counterfeiting knowledge for a long time...you need look no further than Covid-19 to see that phenomenon

An Oxford academic has warned that students using AI can obtain a degree without reading any books Katherine Rundell warns that reliance on AI is creating a ‘vast counterfeiting of knowledge’ in universities 👇 telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/05/2…

NEW: Despite ample evidence of Kilmar Abrego Garcia's criminal conduct, Obama appointee Waverly Crenshaw has just granted Garcia's motion to dismiss his case based on vindictive and selective prosecution. The same crowd now insisting every J6 prosecution was legit and not an act of political retribution against Trump supporters will insist Crenshaw got it right.
