@CharlieFelix If he’s good enough to captain the A side and win a Prem title, he’s good enough for a look in the national side on current form!!

Report on that England U20 win here. If you're a prospective Test forward, being able to put 'beat South Africa in South Africa with a driving maul at the death' on your CV is pretty fly. telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/20…

@MartinWebdale @CharlieFelix @BUCSSuperRugby Should be the future of the performance pathway in English rugby. Regular, pressured, appropriate competition for the best & brightest aged 18-23. Would also go a decent way to solving some of the financial problems of professional rugby

@CharlieFelix Big shoutout to @BUCSSuperRugby Charlie. Lots of that group playing regular student rugby

@WorldRugby @EnglandRugby @premrugby If you want to make the game safer by removing dangerous tackle events* continuing to YC players for a perfectly safe alternative behaviour is a pretty idiotic way to do it 👍

@BudgeNorris No you’re right that’s a fair point. He should have let DVM keep the ball instead and gone lower, cheek-to-cheek, ring of steel etc. for a proper tackle. Thanks 👍

@Sinjington Not saying he can or can't but that's a rip not a tackle!

@TelegraphRugby @danscho1 Willing to take a stab Wales had done their homework on this one and tee’d the referee up in advance

@thedeadballarea I’m not sure “simple solution” and “kickers pre-record their setup for referees to study and learn” quite belong in the same sentence.
It’s a daft law and daft application, like many that seem to end up being the talking point of games rather than the quality of open play
English

There seems such a simple solution to this in kickers record their setup and approach and deviation from that constitutes an early approach.
This feels like a failure on the refs' behalf to not be briefed/have knowledge on the kicker approach.
