Sunday 21st May 1826. Fine warm day 'till nearly the close, when it became somewhat overcast and dull the atmosphere was filled with a vapour resembling smoke, whether it originates from fore, or what cause the writer does not know. Pleasant breeze S.W. [1/2]

Saturday 20th May 1826. Wind from the North, to N.E. and E.N.E. blowing a brisk breeze, dull, cold, & cloudy. At 11 o'clock A.M. the clouds dispersed, and the Sun burst out with wanted lustre, and continued very fine and clear for the remainder of the day. [1/2]
