@Cilaires707 OMG don't even get me started in the Ai part. We've been forced to use gen Ai for a few projects, claiming we will get behind if we don't learn to use it. Ai is like magic for them, so God forbid you if you if you don't want to use "magic" 🫠

My university asks for unpaid labor from the graphic design club. We help with all the branding of other clubs and events but in recent years they decided to use Ai posters for stuff now. Our professer told us Ai is the future but in the same speech said it will take most of our jobs which is why we need to use it to keep up with the market. I’m so tried 🫩

I’m a graphic designer so not the same but I feel similar pains. When I was in elementary school I was praised for my artistic ability, this made me want to grow up to be an artist. Once I hit middle school the talks of “you can’t make money off your art” started to spread. So I moved to law but a consolar in high school loved my art and helped me get into college classes to become a graphic designer, I never looked back since. I was made to be an artist since day one but it hurts so bad to know that after everything I became what everyone said I would be in middle school “The starving artist” I’m 25 now due to graduate college in the spring of 2026. After covid, family life and financial struggles After all that I won’t even get the future I was promised long ago. No job, no office space, no future in the field I craved for as a child. I’m not even excited to graduate. I truly fear what the future holds after school. I don’t want to work food service for the rest of my life.

This is what I've been saying for a long time. Yes, she and her shows are worthy of LOT of criticism but the years long harassment and doxxing campaign towards her has helped normalize what is happening now towards other indie creatives. They're nothing but a punching bag
