This is a wild story. Floyd Mayweather is alleging that close associates who spent years gaining his trust scammed him out of $175 million. Maybe 50 Cent was right about him not being able to read because, in the lawsuit, he claims that he unknowingly signed paperwork transferring ownership of his Gulfstream jet with the buyer section left blank. He also says he still doesn’t know where the money from the jet sale went. Apparently, he transferred $7.5 million into what he believed was an investment deal, while around $100 million worth of jewellery was allegedly handed over to jewellers in exchange for only about $13 million, with a large collection later going missing. In the lawsuit, he names Jona Rechnitz, Alexander Seligson, and Ayal Frist, accusing them of orchestrating the fraud.

I attended the Unite The Kingdom rally today to do interviews with participants and understand, in their own words, why they were there. While I found some of the speakers addressing the rally genuinely abhorrent, the people I spoke to were quite decidedly… not. (1/7)

My concern dated from before the war with Hamas. I did in fact used to go on pro Palestinian marches when I was a student, many years ago. Picked up the placards from Birmingham Central Mosque. It’s unreasonable to dislike Jews because of another governments’ actions. Besides, Muslim communities, by-and-large, have always had an issue with Jews

I spent a lot of time mixing with these communities. I’ve dated people from within these communities. I’ve worked as a teacher with children from these communities and given up a significant amount of time, for free, in my holidays, to help children access the top grades in their exams. I’m aware of the nuances, and it isn’t a blanket criticism. Yet there is an uncomfortable underlying reality that is still not being addressed. The time is for action, and not more endless, pointless discussion.
