We are a generous, welcoming country with a strong sense of fairness. But too many people exploit our goodwill. We need more tools to tackle illegal entry, punish people smugglers & to support those that genuinely need protection. I welcome the new immigration plans.

Today I visited Colham Manor Primary School in my constituency. Huge thanks to everyone who has worked so hard to get children back into the classroom. School is the best place for their education, wellbeing and development.

@triskel9 @BorisJohnson I think it is great all teachers are doing all you can. But the fact is u are following guidelines and are not an expert. Shops closed as not safe and school s closed but are safe?. So why close safe place. Its a political decision not a medical one .its an experiment. Watch.
