Info I've gathered for folks to do with what they will. Based on the ranks of the bottom of the leaderboard, the player population on Tuesday was ~50K people, Wednesday was ~150k people, Yesterday was ~200k people. These are based on the ranks of folks at the near bottom of the leaderboard. It's not exact, but it's a good yard stick. These also only update twice a day, so the info isn't spot on for time. Between the 50k and 150k update, BSG said they let in 1/3 of the people who requested access. That means at worst ~50% of the player base was let into Arena as of last night, if all the numbers are to be trusted.

There is a lot of questions about AI and copy right type issues. Quite a bit of it is, grey area' or abstract. This is not... Doing stuff for fun is one thing. But if your generating any revenue off of someone else's work, do the right thing.
