@SortaStupidRuff I see so many people on here complaining about never getting the chance to work with these big companies or any animation studio but they never post their work and what they’re capable of on their social media

Losing dvd sales, cable and their ad revenue in place of streaming has done irreparable damage that we may never recover from

@ThomasC29008175 Oh absolutely, it’s not ideal but it’s what we have and glitch isn’t the only company We also see situations like hazbin hotel and tadc. Maybe I’m just not seeing em but I bet we’d see way more stuff getting made if more people were posting their pitches

@SortaStupidRuff Glitch is great but unfortunately it doesn’t have the same backing as a TV Network(Wish it did). We have some many people pitching their pilots, but instead of capitalizing on this it mostly up to indie studios to take the risks buffers companies should be able to afford to.

Oh absolutely I agree with you 100% if we’re talking about the old guard at studios like Cartoon Network. Hell they shut down CN studios. But we live in an era where glitch is picking up shows and random YouTubers can help fund to. People should be spending more time pitching and less time complaining they’ll never have a chance when not showing or proving why they deserve one

@SortaStupidRuff Not everyone no, but can you name five in the past 5 years? Networks used to actually try and experiment, take risks with new projects. Some of them flopped but the best shows were a risk. There use to be entire blocks of show, new show a season is a lot.

To be clear I know the animation industry is in shambles. This was posted more to highlight that he wasn’t just given this show on a silver platter. He proved he had a good idea I see a lot of people downplaying why he got this opportunity while not sharing anything similar. Share those pitches if you have them, you never know who’s watching when we live in an era where random YouTubers have the capital and desire to have cool shit get made
