"Quite frankly, I think we're to the point of where we were in '07 and '08 with the economic crisis, in that (it's) Too Big To Fail. We are overleveraged, we're spending too much money, we're borrowing too much money, we're taking too much risk and we're looking for someone to bail us out, whether it's the federal government or the courts or somebody else." During his appearance on SportsWise with Professor Gabe Feldman, Bubba Cunningham discussed the current state, and unsustainability, of college sports' economic model. He and Ross Dellenger also broke down other issues impacting college athletics, including conference realignment, Title IX and Olympic sport funding. 🎙️Want to hear more?
