@yfcherries totally, but I think the value of FC and the petition itself was more about organizing an active opposition to separatism because the ucp would have forced the referendum anyways (ucp getting taken over by separatists and currently threatening the premier)

it doesn’t matter that it was specifically designated as a petition for debate of legislative policy, thomas lukaszuk of all people should know how slimy this government is and know that mentioning a referendum at all in the description of the petition was a stupid idea
