Actually KL perlukan banyak event flagship yang annually repeated and not just one off event. Sayang sebab ramai pergi KL tapi banyak event one off, penghujungnya identiti KL tak dapat project fully. For example Keretapi Sarong is one the KL flagship event, tapi need more

@HezeriSamsuri Ketibaan patutnya welcoming.

Sekarang kerajaan dah stabil, so boleh teruskan perancangan. Last sekali, bottle neck kat setiap access ke wing-wing tu, aduhai. Situ la orang nak lalu, situ la golf buggy nak lalu, situ la orang nak shopping…. Tengok Suvarnabhumi dgn Changi. Sentiasa ada budget nak update. Airport ni pintu utama rumah. Tak kan nak nampak bersepah kot? Menteri menteri kena belajar ikut laluan orang biasa, tak payah ikut cara pemimpin tua lapuk semua VIP lane, lepas tu kata eh, semua okay je….

@NewsBFM He pitched for the project and brought in Kengo Kuma to impress Miti. Miti get Kengo Kuma but not him. He said he did not get paid & credit. Malaysia architects are denied of opportunity to design at international stage. There are questions about transparency & competency.

A designer has claimed his firm was not paid or credited for their two-year work developing the concept, narrative, and architectural direction of the Malaysia Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. "We shouldn't have to beg to be paid for work that was done, used, and publicly presented," Fey Ilyas said. 🧵1

6. The creative agency claimed the renowned Japanese architect is brought it to elevate Malaysia presence at the World Expo. Isn't this defeat the purpose of participanting in the World Expo?

@NewsBFM This is a project of national interest, the national pavilion is an opportunity to showcase works by Malaysian architects. Yet a Japanese architect (whom I greatly respected) is being selected for the design. Bigger questions to be asked; 🧵1

Love it that PMX @anwaribrahim is using Rumah Tangsi to host foreign leaders. We don’t showcase our heritage and rich culture so credit where it’s due. We have so much to show the world. Let’s be proud of it.

BREAKING | After weeks of siege and attacks, Israeli forces stormed Kamal Adwan Hospital, forcing patients, medical staff, and those in its vicinity to leave at gunpoint. Al Jazeera’s journalist in central Gaza, Hani Mahmoud, reported that the forces gave the approximately 350 people inside the hospital 15 minutes to leave. The Israeli military set fire to hospital, the last functioning and largest hospital in northern Gaza. About 75 patients were forced to stand in the courtyard of the facility, which has been under sustained attack for weeks, with many vulnerable to the cold winter conditions. Gaza's Ministry of Health says the fate of the hospital's medical staff and patients, including Director Dr. Hussam Abu Safia, is unknown.

Ernest is: on transit! 🚌🚇🚅
My hot take with Penang’s airport is that it faces a Hong Kong problem and relocation to the mainland is the solution Kulim isn’t ideal as it’s far from PLUS, existing ports and railways - building the airport in Bukit Mertajam or Sungai Bakap is a better choice

Penang plan for increasing air travel is to take an overcrowded airport (and 3rd BUSIEST airport) and make it bigger on already available land. Sanusi plan is to build an giant airport in Kulim and hope people would come to Kedah despite Alor Setar airport being the 14TH BUSIEST

Love the irony of choosing this title and 1) write a litany of lies in the article (like the false assertion that the Chinese weren't informed about the car-raming tragedy in Zhuhai), as well as 2) promote an nth US-backed propaganda initiative aimed at sowing dissent and division in China. We're truly in the era of Orwellian doublespeak...

Blurring Boundary. The museum's common areas blend seamlessly with the park and urban landscape, visually and physically. People can walk through the museum freely and reach another side of the park. 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa by SANAA.

A client asked to design facade for the headquarter of his tour agency. Our proposal: A facade that incorporates the company's branding to help make the building easily recognizable and memorable to customers.

Malaysia announced 30 countries can use the autogate facility at Immigration. They did this without expanding the existing 10 autogates at KLIA they already have 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️. Policies need a deeper thinking, not a knee jerk reaction

They have the exact same concept in pretty much all Chinese grocery stores (price of eggs more expensive for free range, hormone-free, antibiotics-free, raised in mountain area, etc.) so this 👇 is just pure bullshit. Also, unlike in the West, you also get a choice of geese and duck eggs, quail eggs, pigeon eggs, century eggs, salted eggs, etc. And guess what: China produces 40% of the world's eggs so chances are that some of the eggs you buy in your supermarket in the West, free-range or otherwise, are from China 😉 Your colleagues' jaws probably dropped that you'd automatically assume they were so backwards they hadn't heard of free-range eggs...

Today I told my Chinese coworkers that in America in the grocery store you can choose eggs based on how comfortable the chicken’s life is, and their jaws dropped

China's "sponge cities" program - 30 cities with flood risk received CNY600m (USD80m) to build acres of constructed wetlands and permeable pavements to capture, slow down and filter storm water. Our RM4bil River of Life project can fund 11 of these cities.
