Last year AU converted 69.5 pct of two-yds or less needed to covert, running the football. It was the second-lowest percentage during the last 14 seasons. Against Baylor, AU was 8 of 8, running the ball in short-yardage situations.

Auburn accounted for 83.4% of the combined rushing in the Baylor game, a team best under Hugh Freeze. Auburn is 9-1 under Freeze when they account for at least 60 percent of the combined rushing totals. The lone loss was to UGA (20-27). Auburn is 3-13 during their remaining gms

Great job by Freeze sticking with the run since Baylor stuck with two high safeties. Defense looked bad tonight but Freeze stuck with the run. He and Auburn needed a solid road win. War Eagle!!!

In 2018, Purdue to made the huge mistake of selling out to stop Auburn’s running game that was decent at best that year. Stidham had a career game. Hope Baylor does the same and Jackson Arnold lights it up.
