@NanoBanana Beautiful. How close are we to being able to generate stereoscopic images? SBS, OU, etc?
English

With Nano Banana 2 you can use short sentences in your prompts to add the exact details you need to your outputs:
1. A full body portrait photo of a snow leopard
2. A full body portrait photo of a snow leopard. It has one paw raised as it is walking towards us. The snow on the ground is melting, and small purple and yellow flowers are showing with some grass. In the sky there is a sun dog. Behind, a sharp rock protrudes high into the sky. The warm light is catching the rock edge. The snow leopard's eyes are a radiant blue. Direct eye contact.

@DavidFBailey @_Checkmatey_ @jyn_urso At least you admit to taking that much from investors. Robbing is more appropriate though. Someone close to me invested a large chunk of his retirement funds in your business after falling for all your "let's go" style posts. He's currently down 95% on that. Evil.
English

Public statement? You realize this was a one year process with hundreds of people involved, it became a permanent decision when I took $760m from investors.
In what reality is the better decision to betray all my shareholders and rug them on the transaction they based their investment on? That is scumbag behavior. To be successful in business you have to have grit and reputation. If you give up on things when they’re hard you’ll never be successful.

It’s official. One team, one dream. Let’s go.

@theswansjr I can spend Bitcoin at just about every grocery store, eatery, fuel station etc in South Africa - as long as there's a scan to pay QR option. The teller doesn't even need to know. I do tend to tell them though.
Here I paid for groceries, house rates & taxes, plus pharmacy.

English

Normie Logic: "If I try to spend Bitcoin at Whole Foods, the cashier will look at me like I'm huffing paint thinner. Therefore, Bitcoin is a failed experiment."
Reality: Yeah. Mostly true today.
You know what else was true?
In 1991, if you walked into a business meeting and asked for someone's email address, they'd stare at you like you just proposed a timeshare on the moon.
"What's an email? Is that like a fax machine but slower?"
Ask a company for their website URL? They'd hand you a phonebook and tell you to grow up.
The internet wasn't "adoption-ready" in 1991. It was a nerd toy for basement dwellers and defense contractors.
Fast forward 15 or 20 years. Every grandmother on Earth has an AOL account, and every business without a website is extinct.
Can you spend Bitcoin at the grocery store today? Wrong question.
What's monetary infrastructure going to look like in 20 years when central banks have printed another $50 trillion and the dollar is wheezing its last breath?
Skate to where the puck is going.
Bitcoin isn't failing because Safeway doesn't accept it yet. Bitcoin is monetizing while the world clips fiat coupons, too distracted to notice the base layer of human civilization getting rewritten.

@dehumanizedenby @jmdagdelen The bigger picture is you pay to cover the income of the devs who poured their life into their work. If you are going to play it, have the decency to reward the ones who made it!
English

@jmdagdelen Passing judgment or not is irrelevant, piracy is theft, and not a victimless crime.
English

I’m not passing judgement on people pirating games for whatever reason they are or telling you what to do. Just explaining that these are the real consequences of these conditions.
I know of multiple studios who have released top single player games who have explicitly said to me they aren’t making another game because the level of piracy makes the math upside down for them.

#OTD December 21, 1807:
John Newton, the former slave trader turned pastor and hymn writer, dies in London at age 82. Best known for his enduring hymn “Amazing Grace,” Newton’s life was a testimony to the transformative power of God’s grace.
Once deeply involved in the transatlantic slave trade, Newton experienced a profound spiritual awakening during a storm at sea. He later became an outspoken advocate for abolition, influencing figures like William Wilberforce.
Newton spent over 40 years in ministry, writing hymns and preaching the gospel, leaving a legacy of faith and redemption.

@NickDarlington Yes same with Spar here in Hermanus. Nothing but credit cards.
English

@StephenV_ZA It may be that the store doesn’t have it activated. I know, for example, that even though Spar is listed as a Zapper merchant, the Vredehoek Spar does not use Zapper. Or it could be that the teller simply doesn’t know about it even though they accept it.
English

Did you know you can pay with Bitcoin at Clicks?
Today I bought sunscreen using Blink.
If you want to do the same and buy something using BTC at Clicks, simply ask for the QR code payment option or Scan to Pay, open Blink, scan the code, and complete the payment.
Note: You can pay with any Lightning wallet if you use MoneyBadger to first scan the QR code. MB will then open your linked Lightning wallet, allowing you to complete the payment.
