@StudioDraxi I would like to know the correct way to create a level, because I usually start by making something, I'm not convinced by it and I discard it; I'm not able to find the meaning in the maps I develop.

@dungeonpunk I love the idea. You could even do filters for the "loading" with some geometry shaders, like a matrix style ground up load in, or lerp from black to fade clean. Adds another element to trap rooms too as you won't know your locked in until your locked in. Solid.

@LazyDevNL I feel like it's one of those nightmares where you either rip one from something already built or suffer. I made a placeholder UI for my upcoming game and it's such a pain all around, granted I'm using the canvas system.

Expanding on volumetrics, I found a very useful fog shader by TechnicallyHarry on YouTube. Small addition to the aesthetics, I've added a custom lens flare to the sun. Never realised how much a small feature like that could add such a lot to the scene.

Been working working on shadows, 129 dynamically shadowed lights in the scene. All in the browser. A mix of directional/spot/point lights. Made a bit more complicated because lights have volume, to give us soft shadows.

@zizkillerr It's that space that isn't low poly but it isn't high poly either. With the right filter you could put this on some nicely optimized assets and probably run a 3D horror on an android these days. Looks nice though I agree.
